The Solution
The technician submitted an on-site approval request for the replacement, but since it was not approved yet, they decided to install the new pilot assembly anyway to avoid returning for the same item. Later, the approval was granted by SMS, and the pilot assembly was installed, making the fireplace work as intended. The technician also cleaned the glass of the fireplace.
