COMPLETION NOTES: Customer has informed GreenergyAir HVAC technicians that someone was out yesterday (07/02/2022) and replaced a valve. This coil doesn't have a valve it's a piston type coil, which usually doesn't control refrigerant very well, when it's over two tons. This is a 2.5 ton system. The pressures are jumping all over the place technicians have included two separate pictures (video is available if needed). There's essentially no superheat and subcooling, which means the coil is getting the proper flow of refrigerant. GreenergyAir HVAC technician suggests to come back with a refrigerant, but the the solution would be to replace the whole coil with an expansion valve type coil. Our technicians could retrofit the system with an expansion valve, however, if there's something wrong with the actual coil like it's clogged up inside of one of the capillary tubes, then it will be a waste of money. Hence, we recommend to replace the whole coil with one that has an expansion valve for 2.5 tons, take all the refrigerant out and put in new refrigerant to make sure there's no air in the system and leak check. Technician's suspicion is that the system is low on refrigerant also. But there's no way to tell without the correct superheat readings in the correct pressures.
